Russian President Vladimir Putin in New Delhi on a two-day visit
Russian President Vladimir Putin arrived in the Indian capital New Delhi on Thursday evening on a two-day visit.
He was received by Prime Minister Narendra Modi at the Palam airport.Putin will be formally welcomed at the Rashtrapati Bhavan in India ahead of the summit tomorrow.
Later, he will attend a luncheon at Hyderabad House in Delhi.Among the other events Putin is scheduled to attend on
Friday are the inauguration of Russian broadcaster RT India in New Delhi and a state banquet hosted by Indian President Droupadi Murmu. He is expected to leave India around 9 pm on Friday.
