Trump's approval rating falls to 39 percent, disapproval over economy: Reuters-Ipsos poll

US President Donald Trump's approval rating has fallen to its lowest point in his current term. The latest Reuters/Ipsos poll said that Trump's popularity has fallen so low mainly due to voters' dissatisfaction with his management of the economy.

In the survey, 39 percent of American adults said they approve of Trump's job performance. This was down from 41 percentage points in early December. However, it was 38 percentage points in a survey conducted in mid-November.

The latest survey was conducted online. 1,116 people gave their opinions in three days. The possible error or deviation of the survey results is three percentage points.
When Trump came to power in January last year, his approval rating was 47 percentage points.

The US government has recently gone through a shutdown. Due to this, the collection of economic data for the current survey has been disrupted.
The survey found that only 33 percent of people approve of the way Trump is handling the US economy. These are the actions of Trump that the country's citizens have the least support for this year.
