Trump's 'Gold Card' Visa Launched for $1 Million
Trump's 'Gold Card' has been launched for wealthy foreigners. To get this visa, you have to spend at least $1 million. The visa process will be completed quickly (fast-tracked) in this project.
Trump himself announced this in a post on social media on Wednesday.
Trump wrote, 'This card will open the path to direct citizenship for all qualified and verified individuals. Very exciting. Our great American companies will finally be able to retain their invaluable talent.'
Trump first announced his 'The Trump Gold Card' project earlier this year. The official website of the project says that this US visa will be given to those who can prove that they can provide 'significant benefits' to this country.
The official website of the project also says that the Gold Card scheme will provide permanent residence in the United States 'in record time'. However, a fee of $1 million will be required for this and this will be considered proof that the person will provide significant benefits to the United States.
If a company pays this ‘fee’ on behalf of their employees, they will have to pay $2 million, plus additional fees.
Another version of the e-visa is coming soon called the ‘Platinum Card’, for which a fee of $5 million will be paid.
In addition, before the application is reviewed, the applicant will have to pay a processing fee of $15,000, which is non-refundable.
