Moscow is happy with US President Donald Trump's comments on the Russia-Ukraine war. The Kremlin has stated that this statement is in line with Russia's view.
In an interview with the US media outlet Politico on Tuesday, Trump said that Russia is going to win the war. For this reason, Ukraine will have to hand over its territory to Russia.
In the interview, Trump called the leaders of Ukraine's allies in European countries 'weak'.
He also asked Ukrainian Prime Minister Volodymyr Zelensky to hold elections.
Meanwhile, Volodymyr Zelensky said about Trump's interview that he is ready for elections. However, there is one condition. That is, Ukraine's security must be guaranteed.
